Islamabad – The overseas & international affairs chapter of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Friday decided to arrange a seminar of PPP overseas office-bearers and workers all over the world to celebrate the birthday of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
The seminar will be held on 23rd March in Pakistan to reorganise the PPP outside the country. It was decided in a meeting of the Overseas & International Affairs Chapter of the PPP headed by Senator A Rahman Malik, says a press release.
The meeting was attended by Sabir Ali Baloch, Rai Ahmed Mujtaba Kharal, Nargis Faiz Malik, Zulfiqar Ali, Maher Nadeem, Riaz Ali Toori and others.
The meeting tasked a committee to look after the seminar activities and arrangements. All the sub-organisations of PPP overseas chapter i.e. youth wing, women wing, cultural wing, students wing, welfare wing and lawyers forum will be reorganised.
The meeting said that PPP overseas chapter of Canada, USA and Saudi Arabia had been reorganised and ad hoc committees of those countries had been formed and two nominations against each office-bearers had been called for the purpose from the respective chiefs of the ad-hoc committees.
The secretary general of overseas PPP will visit USA and Canada to resolve their issues of overseas PPP office-bears/ workers, he added. It was decided in the meeting that all the activities of PPP overseas chapter and statements from chairman, co-chairman and president overseas and all other leadership of PPP will be updated on the website of the PPP overseas chapter on daily basis.
