Islamabad, 11 January 2015: Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party former President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed profound grief and sorrow over deaths of 59 people in an accident between a passenger coach and an oil tanker near Karachi.
In a statement Asif Ali Zardari said he was shocked and grieved over tragedy in which a passenger bus collided with an oil tanker. According to media reports this unfortunate bus was travelling from Karachi to Shikarpur. Reportedly 59 people died in this tragedy. Former President instructed Sindh Chief Minister to provide assistance to family members of unfortunate deceased to send dead bodied of their loved ones to their respective cities, towns and villages.
He prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. He also prayed for grant of strength and fortitude to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
