KARACHI: The Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian, which has received 105 applications of aspirants for 11 seats of the senate from Sindh, has started their interviews for awarding party tickets to them.
Out of the 11 seats, seven seats are general while two each are reserved for women and technocrats, respectively.
The spokesman for the PPP media cell, Jameel Soomro, said that the PPP Parliamentarian board met here at Bilawal House on Friday.
The meeting was presided over by PPP co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari.
In the meeting 50 applicants were interviewed one by one for senate seats for which elections will be held in the next month while remaining 55 aspirants would be interviewed on Saturday.
