ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People Party (PPP) on Tuesday submitted calling attention notice in the National Assembly Secretariat against contract bidding process for Muzaffarabad to Peer Chanasi road project worth Rs610 million.
The notice was submitted by Shazia Atta Marri, Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani, Imran Zafar Leghari, Mohammad Ayaz Soomro and Abdul Sattar Bachani.
“We would like to draw the attention of this august House towards a matter of urgent public importance regarding the contract bidding process for Muzaffarabad to Peer Chanasi road project worth Rs610 million. The process is dubious as indicated by Transparency International and needs immediate clarification,” it noted.
As the matter is of urgent public importance, therefore, it should be discussed on the floor of the House under Rule No 88 of Rules and Procedures of the National Assembly, the PPP demanded.
