A PPP caravan will start leaving for Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Sindh, on Wednesday (today) to observe the 35th death anniversary of party’s founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
The PPP workers from different districts of Punjab will reach the town by buses and trains to pay homage to their late leader.
PPP Punjab President Manzoor Wattoo told reporters on Tuesday that the party would hold workers’ conventions across Punjab after Bhutto’s death anniversary.
He said an organisational set-up would be constituted in every constituency of the province to strengthen the party. He said the party’s reorganisation had been completed in 34 districts of Punjab.
“We have also filled all vacant posts at the district level. The workers are showing keen interest in strengthening the party,” Wattoo said, adding the PPP would soon regain its lost ground in Punjab as both PML-N and PTI were right wing parties.
