Pakistan People’s Party PPP, Punjab has strongly condemned the attack on the Jinnah International Airport in Pakistan’s commercial hub Karachi, killing at least 23 persons, including 10 terrorists, and offered condolences to the families of those who were killed or injured.
The PPP Punjab president Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo expressed outrage and said such attacks are unmitigatedly impermissible and have a devastating effect as they hinder the economic and political development.
He said that the government failed in devising counter terrorism policy in the face of repeated terrorism acts.
He expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the life loss and prayed for the rest of departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. He said the PPP stands by them in this hour of need.
This is a contemptible and abhorrent act of violence against the state, and the PPP resolutely stands against all forms of terrorism, he asserted.
