Punjab Governor says the PPP led government is paying special attention to protect rights of minorities
Punjab Governor Sardar Muhammad Latif Khosa has said that the PPP led government is paying special attention to protect rights of minorities.
He was addressing a ceremony in Shaikhupura in which a large number of people belonging to minority community joined the Pakistan Peoples Party.
The Governor criticized the imperialistic style of Sharif brothers. He said both Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif are by-product of dictators.
PPP Punjab President Imtiaz Safdar Warraich said that there is no governance in Punjab and crimes in the province have increased.
He said PPP was ready to make every sacrifice to save the democratic system while the PPP believes in democratic norms and its leaders Z.A Bhutto and his daughter Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto devoted their life for democracy.
Latif Khosa said that PPP had great respect and regards for judiciary and judges but the Parliament being law making institution is supreme over all the other institutions. On this occasion PML-N minority wing President Amonivell Sindhu, General Secretary Javed Masih, Riaz Masih and large number of others Christian community members joined the PPP.
