SUKKUR, Sept 16 (APP): Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Sunday visited flood-hit areas of Jacobabad, Shikarpur and Kashmore-Kandhkot districts and announced a Rs. 2 billion relief package for the affected people.Prime Minister, who was here on a day’s visit to witness the damages caused by heavy rains and flooding, directed the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to provide at least 25,000 tents, food, medicines and all other facilities to the flood affected people of Kashmore and Jacobabad districts.He also directed for the immediate release of Rs 710 million for these areas.The amount included Rs. 200 million for Kashmore, Rs. 200 million for Jacobabad, Rs. 70 million for Ghotki, Rs. 100 million for Sukkur and Rs. 100 million for Mirpurkhas.
