KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Wednesday said that it is not him who issued orders to Sindh police chief for recruitment of women in police but it was his party’s policy.
“It’s not my wish it’s party policy,” Bilawal posted on twitter
The PPP chief expressed pleasure over the government’s decision to recruit women in police force. He said that the initiative to install women police stations was taken by late Benazir Bhutto.
‘Until police has equal representation for women, only men will have access to justice,’ he tweeted.
