Senator Saeed Ghani Incharge Media Cell PPP Sindh has visited Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab Secretariat, and was briefed by Jahanara M Wattoo about the functioning of media cell in Punjab.
He was received and welcomed at Punjab Secretariat by Manzoor Ahmed Maneka secretary records and events, Jahanara M Wattoo, head PPP Social Media Punjab, Mian Muhammad Ayub Deputy General Secretary Punjab, Junaid Qaiser In-charge Social Media office, Ahsan Abbas Rizvi media coordinator Punjab and Lubna Chaudhary Gen Secretary Peoples Lawyers Forum. He was come along with Faisal Mir, information Secretary Lahore and Barrister Amir Hassan, spokesperson of PPP Lahore.
Senator Saeed Ghani went around the different sections of the Media set up in Punjab Secretariat and appreciated the work of the PPP Punjab Leadership.
Jehan Ara Wattoo said that the Social Media had been set up recently in Lahore adding it was doing good job as Punjab Peoples Party was disseminating its message through modern digital media and gaining the space and acceptance particularity in youth.
Senator Saeed Ghani also held talks with Jahanara M Wattoo, and social media team Junaid Qaiser, Ahsan Abbas Rizvi, Ali Asghar Awan, Sibte Hassan, Khawaja Mohid Butt, Giffson Sabir and expressed hope that the work of social media would grow and more effective in the times ahead.
They also underscored the importance for setting up Study Circle as it would serve as nerve centre to apprise the rank and file of the Party about the political issues embracing the country and the methodology to be adopted to resolve the issues within the scope of vision of the Party and its leaders.
They also urged for the better coordination between the provincial media set ups of the Party while keeping the Central Media Cell in the loop to bring about desired results in the shape of projecting the Party stance on various issues of national importance.
Senator Saeed Ghani also visited Social Media office to get an overview of the functioning of the office. He also met a delegation of Peoples Student Federation.
