Aging Imran desperate for power: Zardari
LAHORE: Saying that some political actors were up to anarchy by quitting as lawmakers,  Pakistan People’s Party Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari Saturday announced that his party would vie for all the upcoming by-polls across Pakistan, Samaa reported.
“We have decided to field candidates for all the elections that will be held to fill the vacant political offices”, PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari said during a party meeting here on Saturday.
According to sources, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan remained on the cross-hairs of Zardari’s guns during the meeting.
“Blinded by his lust for power, Khan is spearheading the politics of anarchy, which is easy.  On the contrary, PPP  believes in constructive politics”, the PPP leader said.
He added that Khan had taken the course of agitation out of his sheer disappointment over his not being able to become prime minister of Pakistan.
“Another reason for his being so desperately in a hurry is that Khan thinks he’s getting old”, said a sarcastic Zardari, who was absolutely not in good humour today.
