A delegation of senior leaders of PPP led by Chairman Senate, Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari, visited Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar today to inquire about the health of children who were injured yesterday in a dastardly terrorist attack.
The members of the delegation while talking to media expressed their deep condolences over the loss of precious lives and condemned the abhorrent attack of terrorists in the strongest terms.
The other leaders those included were Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo, President Punjab PPP, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Nadeem Afzal Chan, Nazar Muhammad Gondal, Tanvir Ashraf Kaira, Faisal Kundhi, Kanzada Khan, Noor Alam Khan and Senator Farhat Ullha Babar.,
While talking to media Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo said that such cowardly act of terrorism would rather strengthen the resolve of the nation to wipe terrorists out one by one till the elimination of the last terrorists from the country.
He pointed out that the PPP was the worst hit Party by the terrorism because its leader Shaheed Benazir Bhutto became its victim along with score of leaders and workers of the Party. He added that the ANP and the Pakistan Army were also the aggrieved parties attributed to terrorism.
Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo mentioned that the Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto, stood out among the political leadership of the country who raised powerful voice against the evil and vehemently articulated that it had to be defeated on its turf because terrorists did not understand any other language except the language of force.
He expressed the resolve of the Party that it would scuttle their designs of imposing their toxic, redundant and obscurantist ideology on Pakistan at gun point. The people of Pakistan heavily support the establishment of a pluralistic society instead of an exclusive society as favoured by terrorists.
Qamar Zaman Kaira on this occasion said that the people of Pakistan had taken the ownership of war against terrorism and they were determined to nip the evil in the bud.. He said that it would be a long war but the nation was fully prepared to take them head on till they were sent to the hell they deserve the most.
The members of the delegation expressed their deep condolences with Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, MNA and Senator Ilyas Bilour over the sad demise of the son of Bashir Ahmed Bilour who died at a very young age recently due to heart ailment.
